Career Summary
Since beginning this journey as a freelance designer nearly 3 years ago, I've done remote work for agencies, consulted for startups, and collaborated with talented people to create digital products for both business and consumer use. I have a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. I completed a rigorious 6 month full stack coding bootcamp at Rutgers, NJ. I am currently studying at New Jersey Institute of Technology for my MA in Software Engineering.
Work Experience
Lead Developer
Often the day-to-day primary point of contact with clients. As a lead, I am able to strategically lead a project team to successful delivery. Excited to mentor, influence and lead a team of devs and clients. An expert in Javascript.
Role:
Architecture.
Comfortable working with a team to craft a design: choosing the appropriate technology and designing a solution that both
answers the problem at hand, and stays within constraints.
Coding.
As a lead, I'd never go post-technical. I think that it’s important for technical leadership to continue to code.
Clients don’t all work in one language or platform, and neither do I. I can offer a breadth of experience in
a lot of languages, and expertise in Javascript.
Cycles.
Understanding and often playing a major part in the entire cycle of software consulting and delivery, from ideation,
to project conception, to UX, to code, to testing, to deployment, and around again.
Agile.
I believe strongly in agile delivery practices, having implemented them for myself and my clients for a long
time now. I am very comfortable working with Agile, Lean and Continuous Delivery practices -- and love it as
much as we do.
